The Department of Financial Affairs controls the implementation of financial management and control
It carries out ex-ante and ex-post financial control, treasury operations, preparation, receipt, liquidation and control of accounting documentation, calculation and payment of salaries of employees in the entity. It also monitors the complete and timely collection of revenues, monitors the timely payment of expenses in accordance with the procedures for undertaking obligations and making payments, prepares a strategic plan and proposal for the next year's budget and multi-year projections related to the budget, monitors the compliance of the execution of the budget in its entirety or for individual items with the procedures adopted by the head of the subject, prepares a proposal for amending and supplementing the budget.
