Today, the Minister of Environment and Physical Planning Kaja Shukova held a working meeting with the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany in our country, H.E. Petra Drexler.
Ambassador Drexler emphasized that the German government recognizes the importance of intensifying financial and technical support from Germany for investments in clean renewable energy and energy transition in our country and in the countries of the Western Balkans.
It will contribute to reduce the impact of the energy crisis on the vulnerable population, stabilize the energy sector and achieve the transition to a modernized, decarbonized and resilient energy sector.
Minister Shukova expressed gratitude for the continuous support that the German government gives to out country in the European integration process, expressing satisfaction that the long-term cooperation between the two countries already shows excellent results, especially in the area of environmental protection.
